About

Re-enactors, Aragón. From Reimagining the Spanish Civil War.

MÓN is a visual journalism organisation born from a simple conviction: that the way we look at the world shapes what we understand of it. Working between Barcelona and Madrid, MÓN pursues a kind of reporting that refuses to settle for the obvious. Its projects draw on archival research, contemporary photography and experimental visual forms to ask difficult questions about territory, memory and the environment.

What happens to a landscape when its history is deliberately forgotten? How do we document ecological collapse without reducing it to spectacle? In a time when images are everywhere and say less and less, MÓN chooses to slow down, to look again, and to insist that every image carries a responsibility: to tell the truth, and to question it.
